Hi everyone, and welcome to my new site “The Bluff Blog”. As you very well may know, my name is Jonny Heller. I go by the handle @greatghostsaliv on Twitter where it’s been a great pleasure getting to know many amazing Duquesne fans and supporters. Currently, I live in the small town of Willoughby, Ohio as an auto insurance professional, however my main passion has always and will always be Dukes basketball. Before I joined the workforce I was a student at Duquesne and graduated in 2011. During that time I was able to be a student manager for the men’s basketball team and learn under the great Ron Everhart.
This space will contain Duquesne Basketball thought, analysts & news as well as original content. My hope is that this site will become an alternative to the mainstream media and an outlet for the fans to have their voice heard. The site is not just for me to write but also for you. Anybody who would ever like to write a column or has any ideas are always encouraged to contact me.
With the off-season in full swing and freshman arriving on campus for summer classes in June we will have no shortage of topics to cover. With optimism for the Dukes high going into the 2018-2019 season(wow…time flies) we’re going to start off later this week with a early prediction for starting 5 and minutes distribution.
